Aurora presenting at 1st International Symposium on Small Launch Vehicles and Spaceports

Aurora is pleased to have been selected to present at the 1st International Symposium on Small Launch Vehicles and Spaceports, co-hosted by the European Space Agency and the UK Space Agency and to be held at the ECSAT – Magali Vaissiere Conference Centre, Harwell Campus on 28-30 October 2024.

We will be discussing the process, outcomes and main challenges associated with Assessment of Environmental Effects (AEE), an integral part of UK space operator licensing. In support of our spaceport and launch operator colleagues throughout Europe, we will focus on how to minimise business risk and maximise the benefits of AEE, with further exploration of how AEE interacts with later operational phase environmental management and wider space industry sustainability initiatives.
